Hi everyone

My spouse's medical did not come clean.....the x-ray apparently showed some oval opacity on the top left collar bone.....lungs are clear; rib cage normal etc.... do you think this will be cause of rejection... he is a very healthy bloke- goes running, plays football and has no other health issues.

But I am worried this x-ray report might be a problem...Has anyone here had a similar issue ?

Yes, I have been twice. On my first PR and on my second now. I didn't have problems in any of them so far. My wife has 4 opacity areas as a results of previous pregnancies complications. They never asked anything about it, although I always had a medical explanation from it. Bur never used. All medical exams for her always passed. In fact it's the 3rd time as we are now on a Student/OWP status. So, dont worry, it will be fine.

I received my AOR on September 12th. I received an email from IRCC CPCO FinalRequest with a subject "Ready for Visa".

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

Nothing much, just they are asking us to do following things.

1) Update your application: like marital status changes, or death of principal and accompanying applicant or new born babies or principal applicant charged with a criminal activity
2) Determine if u need to submit ur passport:
3) If step 2 is yes, then provide passport, 2 photos, envelope and mailing address

Medical and Police Certificate: Upfront.

Application Status: Open
Review of Eligibility: In Progress
Review of Medical Results: Passed
Add. Documents: Not needed at this time.
Interview: Not needed at this time.
Background check: In Progress
Final Decision: Not Started

I contacted CIC about being not able to use ecas (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do). They asked for screenshots and then replied saying that we acknowledge receipt of documents being successful. It's already been 4 months since AOR and they haven't even started with the application. I dont understand your question. If this is your status it seems your application is at the final stage, just check other people's status, it is exactly the same. If this is your second BKD check, you should have you PPR soon. I never used ECAS.
