Actually CIC had sent the passport request on March 4, 2016. But I had completely missed it for all this while. Better late than never.

Passport submitted to VFS (had to send to NDVO) 7 Apr
Application Approved 13 Apr

Still waiting for the mail... will update once i get it...

the FSW Inlanders who received PPR last week (April 5th) and sent the passports right away, did you have any news so far?

FSW Inland
PPR: April 5th
Passport Reached Ottawa: April 7th

No news after that.
