Hey guys,

Congrats for all the PPR's. And good luck for folks who are waiting. I have the following question:

How does the process work after PPR if the principal applicant lives in Canada and the spouse lives in India.

Shall the principal applicant from Canada send both the passports from within Canada? or

Do they send it separately from their respective country of residence? If this is the answer, then do the principal applicant has to request CIC to change the spouse's VO to India?

When you receive the PPR send an email at the id mentioned in your email to Ottawa and tell them to change the visa office for your spouse to NDVO. Some people have successfully done it. The only thing is that they will have to check that the principal applicant's PP is stamped first.

Not a big deal. When you send the email, they usually revert back within a week to ten days. You get another 30 days from when the new instructions come for the visa office change.

The number you are calling is incorrect. The correct number is +1 613-944-4000

The Ready For Visa email came from IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca. I was given the option of either submitting it to London office or Case Processing Centre Ottawa.

I hope this information will help to answer your earlier question.

Hi everyone,

I sent the passports to Rome on the 23rd of March, they received my passport on the 24th of March.
Sent a mail to Visa Section Rome on 4 April requesting info from them.
Got back mail from them on the 6th April. They said I will get a mail before the end of this week.
Today I got a mail stating that I have an update and I should check MyCIC.
8 April Application got approved and closed.

Waiting to get ours passports back.
I'm planning to land by the end of June.
