I would consider myself very luck and surprised if I get PPR in a day or two.. :eek: :eek: I am actually expecting my BG status to be changed to "In Progress"..

I was actually more relieved this morning on seeing the status update as I felt nothing was happening to FSW Outland category.

I'm sure the clouds are upon us for the second half of March for a prolonged shower as I notice the crowd in previous month's AOR threads are thinning.. So brace yourself guys and have your umbrellas ready...

Don't lose heart fellows. There are a few people in September who are still waiting. I got the AoR on September 3, and my BG check went from not needed to in progress on March 03. Have faith and soon you will see movement in your application too.

Hi everyone! I have been a quiet but anxious observer of this thread. We are a family of 4 and our AOR (FSW outland) was on the 26th of October. Since medicals were passed on the 29th everything went quiet Sad
I got my notes last week but they dont show that much...

This is usual. On my first set of GCMS, there was no movement at all from September 03 (AOR) until January 2016. You will see some progress at around 4.5-5 months timeframe.

I got a ghost email and the next day my BG check went in progress. But there have been cases where applicants have received PPR and their BGC went to in progress after the PPR. So you never know, you may be the lucky one. Hang in there.

I wouldn't necessarily take the "BG check status" as the ground truth. I told you about my friend who got PPR this Wednesday. He never had his BG check updated, and he never had any ghost emails. All he had was the previous marriage divorce certificate requested last Friday, and 3 business days later he got his PPR. I think if there are changes in your CIC account, it means somebody is actually reviewing you. If nothing additional is requested by them, and your profile is clear, you should get it soon. It usually takes 2 days for them to review it.

I have been crossing my finger, hand and leg for long days, but no change in my profile after medical pass.

Friends I need one advice

I applied my PR from within Canada
I got PPR on 9 March but travelled to India on 7 March

Now email says I have to send passport to VO in north America and they will deliver passport to address within North America . But now I'm in India. What I should do now
