AOR in OCTOBER - let's get together

Hi guys, I just got my PPR yesterday. Thank you to all forum members who have helped me make this a successful application! My timeline is as follows:

AOR CEC - October 1
ECAS In Process - October 10
ECAS DM - Not sure but probably a few days before PPR
PPR - October 23

During this entire application, no documents were requested. I think my application got streamlined because I had an existing CEC application based on the old system (September 2014 applicant).

Question for the people submitted additional docs (specially Sche4).

After uploading it to "myCIC", how long it took for Status to change from Provided to We have received the document?!!

I am scared that they did not received my Schedule 4 due to system glitch and just refuse it as they did to others.

I submitted it on Oct 22nd and did change to Provided......nothing happen after that?!!

I dont think it will change to Received.. Because Mine stays the same...

If the status says "Provided" then there's nothing to worry about.

Thank you guys.....Just seeing people who submitted docs got rejected few days/weeks after for not providing required docs scares the H*** out of me.

No need to be worried. Same thing happened with me. My additional documents status changed to provided.

I am trying to check the application status online, but until now unsuccessful.

Can anyone help me with this? I checked with my lawyer and he asked me to wait till wednesday to check the status, as CIC updates on system every tuesday.

Is that true?

Background check - in progress

Can you explain what is this ghost email?

I just logged into CIC and say my application status as updated. So when i clicked on it, I saw that Medicals said passed and Background check in progress

Ghost email is an email sent by CIC to you stating there has been update on your application, but when you check your CIC account you don't see any changes. when you get a ghost email you may see an update in 24 hours or nothing will change.
