Me and my employer depend on each other, obviously I depend more on him than he depends on me. I am very nice to him. He is nice to me.

Are you leaving your country because you don't like your employer? Of course not.

1- I'm leaving because of better opportunities and life standards that Canada has.
2 -With current economy growth rate, my country will never be like Canada for at least 120 years, and when I say at least I mean it. I'm not going to live more than 100 years.
3- Why not go to a place which has already good infrastructure, excellent education, nice people and which appreciates skilled immigrant.
Bonus answer- I dream of having a detached house, to be near to parks but also near the downtown (optional). You never get that in Europe. Canada is 2 in 1, best of US (plenty of space) and EU (very social) in one country.

There is only one life, one shot.

Please Notice: This is just my opinion coming from extensive reading in internet. I have been living only in Europe.

I like your determination. Good Luck :)

Your employer is really nice and calm. You must have very good relationship?
You told em you were leaving to go to Canada and they supported you and waiting patiently for you to be ready to go?
Wow..you don't really see much of that in the workplace. Why do you want to leave if I may ask ;)

Its not that unusual. I was in similar situation several years ago. I told my employer I would be moving to Canada in 2-3 months (because that was work permit processing time back then). It took 10 months to get work permit and I joined roughly A YEAR latter from the original planned date.

Reference letter wasn't the reason. I had good enough work terms and this is the case almost at all of the places I have worked (half a dozen).

The only disadvantage was that I wasn't really given more responsibility or longer lasting projects - which although was hard specially when visas looked like not materializing, but understandable.

I agree that there are fewer places where this could happen. But again I probably won't be working for an employer (luckily always had the choice) who thinks and behaves otherwise.

Waw, congratulations to you.

Get ready ppl.

guys,

Two days ago, I found that in MyCIC account > View Submitted application > Continue > at the document upload placeholder page, they have enabled a option to upload something in Documents Overdue - Letter Of Explanation section and time limit to upload is 15 days as pp submission time limit (they gave me 15 days to submit passports). Also Additional Documents status is showing Actions are required from the applicant.

I got PPR and sent my passport to Accra, Ghana and Embassy received my pp yesterday.

Can someone who got PPR confirm me, please? is it same for you also??
