Guys, is there any way to contact cic to check on the status of my PR application?
I am FSW Outland.

I understand, the cic call center number can only be reached by people who are in Canada.

hello friends .. my kid holds US passport and is expiring by 1st Sep 2016. I understand that CIC expects a minimum 6 months validity once the PPR is received. so in my case after 1st march i will lookse the 6 month validity. In this case should i wait till mid February for any possibility of PPR or go ahead with applying new passport ?

I am thinking if i apply new passport then i need to send them to CIC through CSE if PPR is not received when i get it ?

if i get PPR both old and new passports to be send to VO ?

any opinion/suggestion would be helpful .. thanks

Credentials NOT consistent with level of education claimed by PA under EE Eligibility . ECA not entered under EE Eligibility. Located under obsolete. AGE Applicants age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR.

I have 4 years bachelors from india(ECA attached) and 1 year PG-Diploma from canada. so i choose '2 or more cerificates' for my education . is there anything to worry ??

they aslo gave next recalculation date as 11 jan 2016

2 or more certificates is fine as you have a 4 years grad and 1 year certificate from canada... you should ask Asivad ..

my WES report says 4 years bachelors in addition i have 1 year post grad diploma from canada . so i choose 2 or more cerificate, diploma and degree for my education

This looks like an oversight by VO in my opinion (though it is not very clear) .Hope you have attached your Diploma and Degree certificates.

you might have chose '2 or more certificate' for both bachelors and 1 yr PG

for bachelors, you must selet - bachelors (at this point, your education level is bachelors itself)
for 1 yr PG, your level would be - 2 or more certificate

This happened with my friend, he had given an explanation letter explaining this, and it worked.

i just saw my profile it show bachelors as lvl of education for bachelor

and for 1 year post grad it shows 1 year certificate only

please tell me how can i contact cic and update this info
