is there a whatsapp grp for Oct ppl ? like other months have respective monthly groups? or there is one for Oct which I am unaware of ? or is it decided here , we don't need one and forum is best mode of communication ?

I don't think local visa office is involved to process our application. So far I know all EE applications are processed in Canada and once they finish the process and makes the decision, they inform LVO.

My current residence is in Nigeria and my VO will be Accra too.

No body is really too sure of what is happening here. In my case the LVO (accra) requested for RPRF to be paid and uploaded on the CIC portal and at the same time send of copy of the receipt of payment to them in accra.

I received a call from my local visa office and asked me to provide additional docs for POF. We have submitted everything and same day we received the request letter my BGC changed to in progress.

Does this mean that our application is now RFV since OTTAWA transferred our papers to the LVO?

LVO can ask you to show the proof of funds.

When did you receive the call from LVO? If it happened recently, you can hope that your application is now RFV.

Dec 16. Same day my Background Check changed to in progress. Not sure if that is considered recent. ;D

No news of PPR today. I pray we start having good news from tomorrow. A lot have gotten PPR without changes in BG. Is like the BG status does not really matter.
