I got another update on my profile.
November 7th I got a request for additional documents: RCMP Criminal Record Check


On the following day I was able to schedule an appointment to get my fingerprints scanned and I am still waiting for the background check to come through mail. Now my application status is Your Action Is Required.

Did you take RCMP clearance (general one - without Fingerprint) while you apply initial e-file?

Guys, I have a inland specific question: Is there any time during the EE PR process during which we cannot travel outside Canada? My AOR is Oct 25th(Currently BG Check in progress).. I might have to travel to India by April/May next year for few days. I do realize that during PPR we can not travel, but is there any other time within the PR timeline we are not suppose to or avoid travelling outside Canada?

So once medicals passed and background check turned to "in progress" we shouldn't receive any notifications for a while if everything is going smoothly (no need for additional docs or sth) and after this background check we should receive passport request, right?
