hello everyone,

I am cec inland applicant , ITA- 6april , I am almost finished to submit my documents , I have a confusion regarding some questions, please anybody give me some help for that . As i got refused to B1/B2 visitor visa in 2013 , so i answered yes to both the questions in

"Has XXX you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? (Y/N).

Has XXX ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? (Y/N)

please anyone help for this . Do i need to provide letter of explanation or is that fine without it ???? . HOPE SENIORS HELP ME OUT

i had bit similar situation .. got refused one visa.. i provided the letter of explanation ... and in my GCMS . VO mentioned my letter of Explanation.. i strongly recommend to write the detail of the situation in order to avoid any confusion in the mind of officer.

Make your case easy to understand for officer it will help your file to progress faster.

Another update... At least something is happening...
Yesterday I logged in an saw on mycic that statues changed to "updated" but didn't get any message or email and there was no change whatsoever..
Today I got an email, so I logged in again and statues changed from "updated" to "submitted"

No other change.. And I didn't submit anything... Ghost mail. some movement is better than dead silent for 4 months!

That's good news man. I am FSW-lnland also. My application is submitted Nov 16, 2015. In December BG, it changed to "In Progress", then "Not Needed this time". Since then no update. Last week, submitted for GCMS note. Not sure what to do now !!! my wife is waiting for more than a year in my home country due to this application. Feel so frustrated.

+1. I had a visa refusal, too, I explained it to the best of my ability in my LoE and they did mention it in my GCMS. Moreover, it seems like they were satisfied with my explanation and did not request any additional documents or Schedule A from me, which is common in cases like that. They might request it still, of course, but I don't think it's likely at this point.

Medical passed and background started more or less straight after. Have had no movement at all since November so am super excited now!!

I did order GMCS notes in Feb which didn't really show anything except everything was progressing along smoothly. Was hoping that would be a bit meatier but I guess it was a good sign


Fingers crossed now!!

Looks like they prefer to send out PPRs all at one time which is PPR rain. Wish they can send out PPRs by Friday....
