They will not tell you this for sure, they will simply say you rudely that they cant give you any info

Ya I guess you are right, as the call centre goes through online status which we see in myCIC account. So they will tell us the same thing which we see in CIC account.

i have got a question.. we had to renew our passport. We have got our passport last week.. now wondering how to update or let CIC know about our new passport? Can anyone let me know please??

our AOR is on Nov 03... waiting for any positive result..

Under "Case Specific Enquiry form" you can update your information. Like Enquiry type:"Verification of status, replacement and amendments of documents" I can't post the link here as the system does not allow. But if you google it, you will get it.

Call center will tell anything about your application if the 6 months is over; otherwise they will keep saying, sorry sir we can't do anything more from this call center. That's my experience of calling twice.

I had ordered my G-notes from visafile info website on 9th Feb & received the report on Mar 11th.

Sorry for the long post, but please see & let me know if all is well

From the record, it seems my file was last updated on 13 Jan 2016. No updates since.

As per G-notes "Assessments" section -
Eligibility - not started
Security - Not started
HIRV - <blank>
Criminality - Not started
Org Crime : <blank>
Medical : Passed
Misrepresentation : <blank>
Other req : <blank>
Final : <blank>

Also, file mentions due date as "2016/02/12"

Form Notes Section :

I think, you can but its better to avoid multiple enquiry. Once I used this form for amending a missing document and second time for reporting a technical problem.
