I got PPR, thanks to everyone on Canadavisa forum, and especially Dev and friends. Also very very thanks to those who answered my queries.
I am PNP Outland
AOR 2 March 2016
Visa office NDVO
received email saying an update in Mycic
Then drink a glass of water and then
When opened mycic big was in progress and there is PDF file known as PPR
For few minutes I was stunned to see it

Just called CIC. The agent said my application is still in progress. She couldn't tell when it will be done. So I think I will quit expecting PPR...

You need to be show patience. You didn't even finish your 6 months. Do you expect CIC to answer your call even before the 6 months deadline?

I totally agree with that.
Because of the company I'm working for, I had some paperwork issue to get in Canada in 2014.
Now every time I cross the border I'm red flagged and I have to go see the immigration officer even if my situation is 100% legal...

If I get the TRV, I can enter Canada for tourism with an ongoing or approved PR application, can't I? Maybe it's best to forget about the study permit because I won't be studying this term, enter Canada simply as a tourist, and then take care of the stamping and landing afterwards. How would that be?

I entered Canada 2 months ago as a visitor (I'm from a visa exempt country). I was visiting friends and they didn't ask me about my pr application at the border. They just asked me a return ticket as a proof of my willingness to leave the country. So you should be fine if you can prove them you are here temporarily. Hopefully you will get your pr so you won't have to use your return ticket!
