Reposting my earlier post from some other thread for the benefit of newcomers to Canada:
It takes perseverance and hard work to get a good job in Canada. Don't give up. Network, network and network. Meet people and seek their guidance. Be humble. In Canada, it doesn't matter what you know, but who you know is really important.
It's from mine and lot of my friends' personal experience. Doesn't matter if you are an engineer from overseas, plus MBA from Canada with 5 years of overseas experience. Everyone has to work hard to get their first Job. Nothing is for granted.

My AOR is 20 March (FSW Outland - NDVO). I was requested for additional PCC which I submitted on 24 Apr. Ever since then, my BG Check has not started. Should I be worried? I also received GCMS notes on 05 Jun which showed A11.2 as met (Agent Review) and R10 as pending. I have ordered another set of GCMS notes this week but it will take a month to arrive.
Anxiety is getting the better off me these days. Any comforting words regarding BG Check still not started?

I am assuming first part of your question relates to GCMS notes. I requested GCMS notes on 05 May and got them on 05 Jun. This time I raised the new request on 09 Aug

Check the March spreadsheet to try to find a trend for your application.
I'm a CEC inland dual applicant, My AOR is March 15, I got two ghost updates and one ghost email on August 4, and I expect to get a PPR last week of August...
