I called them late April/ early May. All they said was that my security is done, and now my criminality and eligibility check is undergoing. I don't know what the case is now.

So curiosity got the best of me and I just came of the phone with an agent that said my background check is still in progress but everything looks good. I just have to wait until an officer contacts me. Whenever that is.

Almost there :)

Basically, them given you a second chance to explain yourself - the onus is on you to convince them of something if they don't believe you.

Very sad to hear :( I am sorry. Did they mentioned in which doc or which file they want clarity ?

My foreign work experience with my mom. I worked with her (cash job). Didn't put it as employment experience on my study permit but put on my PR application. They requested an additional document for proof of income and bank statements but because it was a cash job, i didn't have any. At this point i do not know what to submit to convince them otherwise.

Hello guys. Congrats to all PPRs. I am wondering what line u guys call the CIC and they will put u on hold for even over 40 minutes? I called and they told me there is high volume of waitings and hung me up lol...

Very sorry to here this. if you remove the foreign experience which you worked for cash, will you still get the invitation for that particular cut off ??

If you have dealt with clients on mails provide copies of those. Further, whoever the clients were try to get letter from them on their company letterhead stating that you dealt with them. Also if possible make them give an affidavit for the same.
Just my thoughts. Rest take expert opinion.
