I would suggest to do the homework fist - read what stream you can go via, calculate your CRS, see if you will not go via PNP.

Good answer!

Post ITA thread - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/updated-topics/-t455826.0.html;topicseen

It's just the BIO pages and any stamp you have in your current passport.

So I went to the Cardiologist today, he did an ECG and told me that I have Left Ventricular Hypertrophy.. which is most likely caused by blood pressure.
He will need to do an echo on Wednesday to verify that that's the reason.
He told me not to worry and that he guarantees that I will pass the medical.

Anyway, I went to the doctor who did the medical test as well, and asked her what it means if CIC requested a cardiologist report, and whether actual people checked the medical tests or is it a parameter that needed to be filled (in case BMI, BP where of certain values for example)
She told me that this means that the medicals are being processed by the officer and that it's a manual request.

I guess my profile is now on hold until I submit the cardiologist's report on Wednesday.

Submitted my eAPR today and immediately for AOR for the same. Fingers crossed for the next step.

Yup... if they find anything abnormal in the tests they will ask for other more detailed tests... For you it was ECG followed by ECHO because of your high blood pressure... If for example they had found more protein that normal in the urine that would have led to more tests...

It's really not a concern until you get to a stage where you've been diagnosed with a life threatening condition and require expensive meds to live, that's when you became too expensive to upkeep.

Your case is simple, your condition is fairly common and in your case probably doesn't even require medication, so relax!

Now tell me, your medicals should be IP, are they?

Nope, they're not! Still not needed at this time.. Really means that they might be processing medical records while not changing its status, which is not surprising because most cases I see the medicals go from Not needed to Passed without going through IP

Well, my spouse had an oval opacity on left collar bone.(strange thing to notice on a healthy bloke's chest!!)...and we recieved additional medical information request yesterday. (additional x-rays!!)...we filed our eAPR on 12 Jan.. Hope this won't be a problem--but one thing is certain, this will delay the process for which we need to be prepared, i guess.

I am tempted to think that had there been no issues with medicals, we would have passed the medicals right? so are they are pretty quick at evaluating medical tests?..what has been your observation so far?

Hi guys!

Hello Folks,

Thank you all for your responses.

I have a question regarding my spouse study in canada.

Currently I am on Spouse Dependent Work Permit and I got invitation received from express entry on Dec 22 under CEC
I already submitted the PR application to CIC.

***QUESTION REGARDING WHETHER SHE HAS TO STUDY NOW OR WAIT UNTIL WE GET PR AND CONTINUE HER STUDY**

My Spouse is on Student Visa (Currently staying in canada) and If she joins school now the tuition fee cost $8000 per semester(as she is an international student presently)
Once we get PR the same course fee will reduce to half of the amount.

What would be the best option whether to continue the first semester as international student or shall we wait untill we get our PR and continue her studies.

Anticipating for your repsonses.

Thanks you
RJ

Guys I realised something and would ask for your advise;

I am residing in Qatar since 19/05/2013 and the PCC I have obtained from the authorities refer to the dates between the commencement of my residency and the date I've got the PCC (29/12/2016)

Question is I have short periods of visits in 2012; should the PCC have covered these periods too?

Hi Guys, AOR date: 1/17. Good luck to us all :)
