Friends...I got rprf request and my background check went to ip2 just now...can I finally breathe a sigh of relief?
Also the rprf letter says I have cleared eligibility

It went through but the lady told me the other ways of approaching them: asking someone else in Canada to call 1-888-242-2100 for information or go to the nearest visa office for help. The +1 613 944 4000 would probably not be working any more, quoted from her.

i called at the same number 30 min back.and she said d same or asked me to visit CIC website to know more abt my application.even though i said i have a query. i think she wasnt in the mood.

After lots of challenges trying to submit a document. I spoke with one of the nicest cic call center agents...she walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. I guess it's hit and miss.

Additional Docs Req 13/04: Schedule A and Travel History to Specific Country(I stayed almost six months there, they asked how many days I stayed there. Within the initial application, you can only provide month ranges which is not clear if you've stayed more than 6 months)
Additional Docs Sent: 23/04
IP1 - 24/04
Additional Docs Req 02/06 : Military Records.
Additional Docs sent: 06/06
IP2: 07/06
No fingerprint request at all.

Hopefully PPR soon. My work visa will expire on 31st of June and I don't want to apply for the bridging.

Hey everyone.. I'm a British Citizen and therefore only need to send a photocopy of my passport, not the passport itself.

On my "Ready for Visa" PR acceptance letter which I received last week it says;

"Step 3: Prepare your documents
You must submit:
1. One copy of this letter along with Appendix A.
Note: Visa exempt applications using MyCIC are not required to submit a physical copy - please upload this information to your MyCIC account.
2. Passport OR photocopy

So they want me to submit the letter, Appendix A and my passport photocopy. But as a MyCIC user, which I am, I have to upload this. I cannot see a new placeholder for the passport and letters? Also the Passport scan (along with stamps) is already on my profile. Also this letter is already on my profile under Messages. My profile has not changed at all it's still at IP1.

What am I required to do here? Send it all via post anyway and stick post-it notes on to say something like 'nowhere to upload this online'?

Also shouldn't the scan passport copy I uploaded back in February suffice anyway?

Wow I didn't even have that option. My PPR asked me to send them in even though I only needed to send the photocopy.

there are hardly any PPR emails today, it seems... .... also, I have an extensive travel history - I'm beginning to wonder if that's a cause for delays

I just received my GMS notes ordered May 10th, dated May 30th, and received today June 7th.
I am FSW Inland AOR 10 Feb,
Medical and Criminality are Passed
Eligibility and Security are not started!
I feel frustrated any ideas how long will it take them to start Eligibility and Security?

Same timeline and mine was criminality in progress, security not started but passed eligibility.
Look closely, there is usually a due date for the next time your file will be checked.
