security screening must be. FSW-O Jan. should have been long approved.

Security Screening???? What is that???? I think after getting conformation that my application has been approved, What kind of security clearance they might be looking at???

Hi. I am in the same situation as you. I actually hit my 6 mth mark 2 days ago. I called CIC ago & apparently they are just awaiting instructions to send my app from Ottawa to my LVO so that my passport can get stamped. Hang in there...I know how frustrating the wait is. But at least we know the application is approved. I'm really hoping & praying to land in Sept. so I just to stay positive.[/QUOTE
Do you think writing or calling to IRCC will make any difference???? Maybe they forgot our application and is kept in some corners where no one visits....
For me I think my VO is Ottawa (as 3 persons from my country received PPR email from Ottawa ) although for stamping its NDVO........

Depends how long security check takes to do can be a few weeks usually from transfer date

I guess around the same time. It was sometime last week was what the agent informed me.
Absolutely no movement post that. Nobody seems to know how long they take and what they do in the local VO.

Tried calling them but they refused to provide any information. Sent email as requested on call no response as yet.

Guess should just forget about it coz it will happen when it has to happen.

Write to your visa office asking if any thing is required from your end. Also do mention that a month ago you were informed of the approval. That may act as a reminder in case they have forgotten about it.

I cannot write to my visa office because I do not know what my LVO is. I called CIC about a wk ago & my app is still in Ottawa. Also several ppl from my country got PPR from a neighbouring country's visa office so there's no guarantee that my LVO is the one in my country. I will wait another wk & then e-mail CIC Ottawa. I've been hesitant to e-mail b/c I e-mailed once and in their reply they said to keep correspondence to a minimum. Note: This is also the same reply in which they said the app was approved.
