I sent my Passport on the 9th got to Ottawa on the 10th i saw nothing in my cic account till now today is the 15th still waiting though...

My agency told me that the students visa applications are expected to be settled by 17th August (Today). So i think we can expect some movements after today.

I checked Mycic today and find BG check status has changed to "In progress", but have not received e-Mail yet.

Hope it is a positive signal to PPR.

Yes it's a positive sign. You'll get a mail in 24hours or so. May I know your VO?

Hey fellow, may I ask how do you know your VO is Hong Kong? I am an outland FSW applicant living in Hong Kong yet the CIC agent said my file is in Ottawa. I am not sure whether it will be transferred to Hong Kong at a later stage or remain in Ottawa for the whole process.

BG went to IP today, I think...since last night I checked it was NS.

I didn't get email directly from CIC. Instead, MYCIC sent me an email alert so I went to check.

PNP outlander
Hongkong visa office. (I suspect the email is sent from them since now it is work time in China.)

And I sent a CSE on 15th Aug. It maybe helpful to raise CSE after you pass 6 six months. Just a guess.

Congratulations! I am a FSW Outlander from Hong Kong, too. My application has been 6.5 months with BG IP a month ago. The agent told me that my file is still in Ottawa (even though the background check is in progress).

May I ask how do you know your VO is Hong Kong? The endless waiting is killing me...

Cal for GCMS notes. That way you can be sure whicj vo your file is at. It's upto cic where to send yor file for further processing.
