Do we need any work experience to qualify for PR ?
One of my friend can get LMIA from one of the IT company.
But he is a fresh graduate from India and does not have any work experience.

Please advise

If you are applying through FSW then you should have at least 1 year of work experience in the NOC code that has been used on your friend's LMIA even if it's outside Canada. Other option may be through PNP.

My Application of Receipt date was Feb 10,2016. I have uploaded all the required documents and paid the fee of 550CAD. I had difficulty in consolidating the documents as system was not accepting more than 5MB file. My friend helped me to compress to smaller size and upload as pdf file.

When I look at the Application status, it status are as follows

Application/profile status : Open
Review of eligibility : Review in Progress
Review of medical results : Passed
Review of submitted documents : No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview : Not needed at this time
A background check is needed : Not needed at this time
Final decision : Not Started
