hi Luwassa, to be honest I don't know either. that's why we have the spreadsheet to get some idea how cic is processing the application. questions like: Is Outland application faster than Inland? Is non-PNP faster than PNP? etc.. Senior, please do advise...

Hope everyone has updated.. this gives us a little insight on the time taken between each move on myCIC.

me too, I received ghost email 8 hours ago, but nothing has changed in my status. I'm contemplating that I was assigned to local visa office because the email was sent during our normal work time.. do you happen to know where are you assigned?

Hi @hemurk, and @berabad, when your profile for BG goes from 'In Progress' to 'Not Needed at this time' do you get an email? or does it just happen automatically?

@hemurk, I seem to have a similar-ish timeline to you. Just checked and BG is still 'In Progress'.

You will get the email in next 24 hours. I am constantly checking MYCIC so first it said updated onthe main screen afetr few hours, it changed the status to not needed and the next day i got the email.
Could vary for others as well.

I've noticed too. Seen many people and their BG goes to not needed in around a week to two.

My friends told me, email that we receive and the updates to myCIC will not be in sync. Also, we may get emails whenever VO opens or update anything in our file.

Another Weird thing I have noticed yesterday on myCIC page.. in the main page (where you will see both your EE profile and the Application you submitted after ITA), it was displayed 'your action is required' under status column.. I thought CIC might have requested document, when I hav clicked on 'check messages and status' button, the status has change back to 'submitted'.

It's wired. It must be either glitch on CIC systems or VO would have thought of asking for extra doc and withdrawn his/her opinion later.

These kind of things makes me ‎curious and increases my anxiety
