Your background status has already gone to 'Not needed at this time' from 'In progress'; which I presume CIC would have did a preliminary check on your file. If I were you, I would wait for few more weeks until a decision is made by CIC.

Or, if you are confident enough that your application will be rejected for sure, go for OINP.

Thanks I am planning to wait for 4 weeks than i will start making my OINP file. I have 2 months to submit that.

URGENT HELP/ADVISE REQUIRED!!!

We have a peculiar situation at hand and is really frustrating at the moment as we have no idea how to proceed with this.

My wife and I had applied for PR under FSW through the express entry system in August 2015. We had secured a total score of 458 and also received an ITA in January 2016.
We had 60 days to submit our documents and make the payment and our last date of submission is March 13, 2016.
However, on March 4th, 2016, we received an email from CIC/the govt stating that my profile is ineligible and I need to improve my profile in order to qualify for another application.
This is strange given that we intended to upload our documents on the 3rd of March, 2016, however, the website was down for maintenance or technical issues.

Has this happened to anyone else?? How do we deal with this??
Since they do not accept calls, emails or correspondences of any form, there is no way to deal with this as far as I know.

We have invested a lot of time, energy and money on acquiring all the necessary documents and WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE SOME GUIDANCE AND HELP FROM SOMEONE!!!

Whoever is reading this, please respond if you know a way around this.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

What was the ITA Date? They count 60 days from ITA including that day.
If the PR document submission option has been taken out from your MYCIC that I guess you can’t do much.
Having said that I would strongly suggest you to make a express entry profile ASAP, coz the points are lingering around 450 so there is a strong chance you would get ITA again.

We had shown AUD $17000 which is approximately CAD $16900.

Since we have been deemed ineligible, would making these changes affect our application. Meaning, would we still be able to continue our application and meet the deadline of 13th March, 2016?

2. My current work permit is expiring on 27th may, 2016.

3. Already applied for BOWP. CIC call center agent said that I can apply for BOWP with my "AOR", but I can only do Paper Application. They will wait for my PR eligibility review and then process the BOWP application.

Somebody said to me that, I can start working for a new employer (change my job while having closed work permit) as I have already applied for BOWP.

Can I change my employer in my situation?

Please suggest!!

I doubt you can change jobs with closed work permit. you can find a new job tho, and inform that you will be getting a bridge permit and submit that soon.

not necessarily. I was advised that I can apply both online and paper but online takes a bit longer so I applied online and attached my AOR too. Buys more time

My advise is don't change your job.

14th March is the joining date.

Getting an offer and that being legal to work are two different things. While interview / offer process they ask you that if you have a work permit which you do.
but when the HR will ask for a work permit and find its a closed one. that time you will face difficulty.

Well i think you should calculate your marks once again in FSW

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

and then calculate your CSR points

as you didnt submit your profie it seems strange if cic can just reject you on the basis of ineligibility. if both of the above things are ok and your ITA points were met you can either call CIC or do a CSE . a more detailed insight can be provided by ASIVAD

Looks like they do consider the funds declared by the applicant. Have you or your spouse celebrated your birthday during this period? Your age can reduce your score too.

Hi everyone,

I am the principal applicant and I received a request for Schedule A (IMM5669) today. This seems fairly common and I have filled it out. My question is whether it needs to be filled out for my common-law spouse as well. He is a Canadian citizen and the letter does not specify whether the form is required for him.

Any ideas?

My timeline so far is the following:

Applied on 18th Feb
AOR on 18th Feb
Request for Schedule 4 1st Mar
Request for Schedule A (IMM5669) 9th Mar
Medical Passed on 9th Mar
BG in Progress 9th Mar

Please how do I go about raising a CSE in order for me to update record on mycic after receiving AOR I discovered that it was the photocopies of my marriage certificate and degree transcript that were uploaded. Any help please.
