Hi why don't you give IRCC a call? As you have crossed the 6 month mark they will tell you what's happening with your case file.

It is not an official stat day but it is observed in most provinces including Ontario.

guys, what action are you planning to take?

What action can we take really? my file is in lvo, I asked somewhere what should be done if I cross 6 months which I will be crossing by next week, they replied try emails as they don't welcome phone calls...and others on the same boat asked to be patient... The toughest thing one has to undergo ever

i am getting a feeling that they have skipped my file... i think there are only 2 people in the feb forum from NDVO whose BG Check has still not gone into progress

Yes, My AOR is 11th Feb and my BC status is "Not needed at this time"

LOL, That's humorous.
At least 30 people I know whose BG is not needed at this time from Feb.So you are definitely not alone.Hope NDVO starts clearing feb files soon,orelse many of us would land up in 6 months & beyond soon...

I feel the same skipping my file. that is the only logical reason for the time taken. All these months, I have gone different levels of crazy waiting!

I'm living in Canada and my wife and 6 months old daughter living in India .. When I get PPR email can I submit my passport here in Canada and my wife and daughter passports can be submitted in India ??? Or it should be submitted all together in Canada .. Experts please advice ...

Yes your wife and daughter can submit in India and you can submit in Canada! No worries!

relax. several people from the Jan AOR thread are also in the same boat. My BG went into progress after 6.5 months. So, dont worry, there is no skipping of file.
