Are you express entry or base stream? For EE medical is upfront

The December guy who got PPR in two weeks was also processed by Warsaw. Very quick visa office. Hope my application also gets there

I've sent a CSE about an address change to my local VO as per the instructions in the AOR letter. After a few days I got an email from them requesting me to send that same CSE via a different link that they provided. So I'm guessing they'll correct you even if you chose the wrong VO. Or maybe that only works with address changes.

Warsaw is your VO if you're applying from Russia. Or do you mean that they could process your application in Ottawa, without sending it out to Warsaw? I thought the BG checks are always done by the local VO.

The general consensus as far as I know is that the applications are first processed in the central office in Ottawa and then sent out to local VOs at the BG check stage. You can find out which one is yours on the CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#r
Or you can know for sure if you get a documents request or any other communication from them.

Warsaw is your VO if you're applying from Russia. Or do you mean that they could process your application in Ottawa, without sending it out to Warsaw? I thought the BG checks are always done by the local VO.

I assume you are right, but the main question is WHEN they shift the case to local office. My BG check was 3 days "in progress" then switched to "not needed". I hope that this was the moment when they sent my file to Warsaw. Of course these are my speculations.
