Inland FSW Aug 17 AOR here no news yet

I'm an Inland FSW , AOR August 3rd. I have not heard anything for over 5 months and a week. I wanted to share my timeline with you. I recently requested for GCMS notes some days back

AOR: August 3
Eligibility: In progress
Background Check: Not started
Ghost email: Nov 13, Dec 31

I'm also an Inland FSW with no movement for awhile. Its really getting alarming for me because of some news ive read in the chat rooms here. 5 months and 1 week, Yet no final answer. I recently requested for my gcms notes some days back in a frantic bid to know what was going on. I hope i will get a reply before the gcms notes come in. Here is my time line :

ITA: June 23
AOR: Aug 3
Eligibility: in progress
medicals: passed
Background status: not started
Ghost emails: Nov 13, Dec31
cic call: Dec 28

Since then, i have not heard any news or positive feedback. I currently reside in canada and I thought that was supposed to sepeed things up but it isnt. Let me know your thoughts guys :-[

I was half asleep when they called. Just asked of my roles and responsibilities at my foreign work experience. and a contact reference. i answered them as clear as i could be.

I'm getting worried also and losing hope now. My Bg also went in progress mid november and AOR Aug 7th. I used to think that I'm probably DM like everyone else and will hear soon but not sure about it anymore. I saw someone who called CIC from July and was told he will hear by March.

Personally I just want to get a decision now, yes or no whatever it is I just hope they let me know and end this wait for me.

Hi Folks - Is there a way we can connect with Ottawa Office to check regarding the status of my application?

I called up CiC support yesterday and they told me that my application is being handled by Ottawa office. And they will contact me in case they need any info from my side or if they want to share the decision made with me.

However, I haven't got any email from them in last 5 months so was little worried and wanted to somehow check my current status considering my BG has not started.

Case specific enquiry (CSE) to ottawa office would probably be the best way to get a response and get their attention.

I dont they will answer as long as you are in 6 month timeline but try doesn't hurt ..
