I thought the local visa office would be by default your country specific visa office, but I realized that is not the case for everyone. There have been no communication from cic. Will remove this info from profile, might be misleading.

Lets hope for the best, I hope to see some movement by mid January.

Lets hope our bg starts soon... i have seen 1 or 2 cases wer ppr was issued widout bg updates on mycic or ecas.. they wer fsw outlands..

A big wish if it can b the same fr all of us in the group.

I think whole bunch of Inland FSW/No LIMA/No PNP working on PGWP got their PPR on 24th December. I might be wrong but that what it looks like.

Hi All,

I am happy to inform that I have received COPR on 12/23/2015.
My AOR is August 20th 2015.

Congrats! How many days from when you sent passports (or copies of passover)? Which country are you residing in?

Congrats. Are you in Canada or outside? (are you inland or outland applicant?)

Still waiting. Inland FSW. AOR of August 25th ... no PNP and no LMIA. No ghost emails to mention and last update to myCIC was months ago. (Medicals Passed and Background check in Progress).

I updated some information to my file a week ago (through online CSE), and CIC replied back with a one-liner saying they acknowledge the update and that they confirm my application is still in process (This was a few days ago, Wed. I believe). Only thing that may be lacking in my application is job responsibility descriptions. I couldnt get them from my employers, so I attached a letter explaining this, and provided links from websites where the jobs I was working are currently being advertised. I hope this is sufficient for them.

It would be advisable to renew your passport but otherwise also it's fine. The decision is purely upto you.

Hi Vishal,

how many months you had (to expire the passport) before you renewed your passport.
and when we get PPR (whenever we get it), we have to send it to VO. does it need to be atleast 6 months valid passport. if this is the case, then I think i better start the process of renew it now.

Thanks
