Does anyone know how long it will take cic to process CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY?
I am waiting 3rd week already. Have seen people being answered in 3-4 weeks. But there were also those answered in 2 months...

Speechless...

Wish you all the best Michal!

For the applicants who include your spouse in the application, have you submitted the marriage certificate in the 'Spouse' section?

Thanks!

No I believe it asked for the Marriage Certificate in the principal section.. you can also add it in the "Proof of relationship" which is also under the principal applicant

I don't recall having "proof of relationship" section. I provided marriage cert. in the "marriage cert" section.

Do you have kids? Maybe I had it in my application because I have kids... Hmm.. good to know!

I do not know why there was a glitch in my system... I was asked to provided the marriage certificate twice, in the principle applicant section and spouse section, but in the transmitted profile. It's gone.

In Proof of relationship I provided something else.

I think Proof of relationship is for someone who has direct relative(s) in Canada.

The reason I asked is because my application was cancelled due to the lack of my spouse's Police certificate.

When I logged into my account, I found the system structure is different from the time I submitted my application. Right now, the “Spouse’s Marriage Certificate” section is disappeared and the uploaded “Notarized Marriage Certificate” document has been moved to the “Police Certificate” section. I am not sure what kind of system changes happened to MYCIC account but I am certain that I have prepared and submitted my spouse’s notarized Police Certificate onto MYCIC account. I differentiate document name and there is no way that I would have submitted a wrong file.

I have submitted a CSE this morning, but I am also considering to resubmit the application...

Selina , I got your point

When you first uploaded the docs , there was an upload space for spouse marriage certificate though it was asked in your section.

In that case in which section you had uploaded spouses notarized PCC?

Did you taken a print out of the page after upload and submission.

I know it sounds like I made it up. But...there were spaces for Marriage Certificate and the Notarized PCC for Spouse. The reason why I am so affirmative is that I asked my friend who works in the immigration company about why they want me to upload it twice. He said it's normal in the immigration application.
Unfortunately, I did not print out the submission page. I never thought it would happen...

It's a fact , without experiencing these kind of technical issues one won't think about taking a print out. This is a first time issue I believe. Never heard about it. Anyways you raise a case and prepare a new app too.

Also you can take PDFs print of application submitted docs page always via cic page after submission.

Thanks @aru_nj. It's such a painful experience...I'm sure I will keep a hard copy record in the future...
