AOR in August 2015

Here's my timeline FSW outland:

ITA Received: June 26th
Medicals done: July 10th
e-medical sent: July 15th
Application Submitted: Aug 17th
Application Confirmation & AOR received: Aug 17th
Medical Passed(Family EDE): Aug 26th:
ECAS Access: not yet!

I didn't have enough time to take all the exams on the same day, so the doctor said it is ok to do it separately.
The exam was NON-EDE worker.

My understanding is that we all should do non-EDE worker... that way their report will include whether we would add excessive demand on the Canadian Health System.... only EDE applicants (refugees and such) can go for Family-EDE.... The average person (like you and me) should do Non-EDE worker... So don't worry

Yeah but there is one thing to it... YOU DO NOT GET TO CHOOSE THE CATEGORY.

There are people who passed it with EDE-Family. And rejected people were under NON-EDE Worker. So... what you say is not correct. Plus, we all have the same medical tests!

I am worried because I haven't came across any applicant as his/her medical type EDE-Family. All of them are Non-EDE (weather worker/family). Moreover, I am a single applicant. Don't understand why my physician mentioned it that way. I understand your worry. Hope applicants who filed CSE for this kind of rejection comes up with a concrete explanation. Good Luck

My Medical type is Family EDE and my wife who is residing out of Canada has a Family EDE as well and my medical is showing as passed as well. As for why we are not seeing many Family EDEs on this forum maybe there weren't any issues with Family EDE. Fingers crossed and hope for the best. My timeline is almost similar as yours.

I with my wife submitted the application on Aug 14 2015. We havent got any update except AOR. My friends who got AOR after me also got their medicals passed. MY profile is express entry via PNP.

Is there anybody like me ?

Any principal applicant for PR will have to be NON EDE. If his/her wife; the secondary applicant will always be EDE.

Under the PR rules; the CIC cannot reject your spouse application even if she is a burden on canada under medical purposes.

I received ITA and i am in the process of submitting my application. the total amount of payment is 2,080 for two people. I wanted to ask if anybody payed both right of PR and application fee together waited for them to grant PR application before paying right of PR.

It's your choice. You can pay upfront or wait until they ask you to pay.
Generally, people pay upfront to avoid any delays.

I got AOR on 18th august . Didnt get any mail other than initial AOR . People after me also passed medicals today ..

Dont know why . I am under Province nomination.

their is no certain timeline. It is different for different indivuals.
Have you applied on your own?
or if you have applied through a consultant then you won't have mycic access.

I applied my own with province . But last year applied via David cohen for FSW. This year i decided to go ahead my own.

My timelines are worst than you... Meds status is in progress since 8-Aug. I posted the same question once and one member replied that sometimes it takes a month to complete the meds test. Not sure why the delay but we can't really help.
