I just read on Ecas about the various statuses and what they mean, for fsw outside Canada medical passed in Ecas will be a part of decision made status and not in process so they will update our medical a little later

Guys, I think Indianaspirant is on to something... this really might explain why some folks pass their medical within one or two days of AOR, and others wait for 2-3 weeks... Anyone here applying outside of Canada got their med passed within 1-3 days? A show of hands please?

I'm outside Canada. Didn't get it yet, but it has only been a bit more than one day. I will let you know!

Hi,

can any one suggest me how many days does it take the CIC folks to process the steps , i mean i received
ITA - July 11th
Medicals done - July 24th
Application submitted - Aug 7th
AOR - Aug 7th

Now my application/profile status is open and Review of Eligibility is in progress from Aug 7th. Can anybody suggest what can be the maximun time for CIC to review eligibility ?
when would they move to medicals.

I checked with the physicians office where I got medicals done. They told that they have not yet sent my wife's medical report to CIC Whereas mine was sent out on 06/08/2015. This explains me why I don't see any update even after 5 days of submission of my application. Looking forward for a change in the status soon!!!

Can anyone let me know how many days the medical centres take to send out the report to CIC?

Thanks Dusky Blue... yes please let me know when you pass your medical.

I too received my ITA on 7/17 and just submitted my application on the evening of 8/10 (technically 8/11).. So we're on the same boat!

I'm just really curious as to whether outlanders really pass their medical 2-3 weeks after AOR (Vs Inlanders who pass in 2-3 days) or not.

I am applying outside of Canada, had my medicals done on Friday, further checks on Saturday and received confirmation yesterday. So excluding Sunday, that is 1-2 days

Thanks Mrs Aj... hmmm how interesting! I'm curious though, what do you mean by "further checks"?

Mrs Aj, by "received confirmation" do you mean Medical passed?

Am an applicant from outside of Canada, India, nd passes medical with 2-3days

ITA on June 26, 2015
Applied on August 04, 2015
Within Canada

No updates so far

For ppl who have their medicals passed, can you please indicate timeline when the medicals was done?

Thanks to those who provided their timeline.. I can conclude now that being an inland applicant vs living outside of Canada is NOT a factor of how long one takes to pass or fail a medical. I really don't think it's "random" though... There must be something common between those who wait 2-3 weeks to pass their medical... only CIC knows!

I reside in the States, but I did my medical in Egypt (we got the ITA when we were on vacation visiting family there, plus it's less than 1/3 of the price here in the US haha) on July 28th... Submitted the application and got AOR on Monday 8/10 evening...

Waiting impatiently to pass the medical soon... fingers crossed! :-X
