Cic doesn't have enough time for celpip background check.
They ask for original so that it's easy for them to authenticate the certificate.

Ah thank you :)

It depends on what the reference letter is for. If it's foreign work experience, that doesn't matter. If it's for a job offer in Canada, then it is.

PS: Oh man, wish I had your working schedule. :P

Can I please have more views on this?

Hello SBSNAGAR:

I assume you have received positive LMIA for your position?

If so, from what I gathered from this forum is that cic needs proof that your job is permanent and non-seasonal. If you mouseover the question mark from document check list, it clearly states that the job offer letter must state that your job is permanent and non-seasonal.

People from this forum have gotten rejected just because their offer letter was missing "permanent" or "non-seasonal".

Hope this helps.

Thanks iwasjeff, No I have applied under PNP without LMIA job offer. I have aplied based on my 1 year skilled experience in Nova Scotia.

Is there going to be any issue?

Can I ask how did you go about working in Canada for that one year? Did you apply for a fixed term work permit?

Hi Guys,

What do you think? Should I send revised reference letter through CSE?

Inputs will be really appreciated.

You don't need to change your reference letter since you are not working on a positive LMIA and you have already completed you 1 year Canadian experience that you received points for.
Your additional 600 points are through PNP so you should be good.

The non seasonal term is more for people who have a valid LMIA and receive 600 points for permanent, full time and nonseasonal job offer.

Guys, I just looked into the July AOR spreadsheet and was encouraged by what I saw. Currently, 5 applicants got PPR and they're all outland FSW. The average number of days between AOR and PPR for those five individuals is just 53!

So who knows... hopefully by late September - early October, some August AOR's will start getting PPR's!

Hi guys!

A bit late to the party, but figured I might add my timeline in:

Category - FSW Inland Applicant (with accompanying Spouse)
App. Submitted - August 24th, 2015
AOR - August 24th, 2015
ECAS Access - September 1, 2015
Additional Documents Requested, CELPIP - September 1, 2015.
Additional Documents submitted - September 1, 2015.
Meds. Passed - September 4, 2015.
Background check "In Process" - September 4, 2015.

ECAS Status - "In Process", 4 lines.

Good luck with your applications, everyone! :)

Hi, gladly! I tried this link: "https: // docs. google. com/spreadsheets/d/1mjPvyzLOlK8Y1xJcKoWQbzhn_SLB1hQBjSU0X0Gxf14/edit?usp=sharing" (without the spaces) but I keep getting a "Problem Loading" message. Is there an updated link that anyone can provide me?

Thanks!

Let's hope you are right... ;D

On the other hand, there are April AOR's who are still waiting theirs PPRs, so don't get over excited just yet...

.. and you had to steal my thunder! :).. haha just kidding...
Yeah i'm really hoping all of us August-ers will be sort of fast-tracked like those lucky ones from July (and of course the legendary Mrs. AJ)
I'd hate being in that same boat as the April AOR's who are still waiting for their PPR's... tough situation!
Good luck to them and to us all!

Hi there,

I have updated my profile in the spreadsheet, but I wouldn't able to pull out my previous entry and just added a new one.
Would you mind to delete my previous entry?

And I just wonder I got the requisition for other documents today, does it mean that my application is complete and just need to verify the documents provided?

Just want to make sure my upfront medical report is good as it seems a lot of people got rejected by that.

Thanks!
