Whenever there is a status change in any of these. What kind of notification we get in our email?

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
A final decision has been reached Not Started

Will it say new message in our CIC account or application has been updated?

You can get both type of emails. If there is new message email, then you will find a new message in your cic account.

If its application update email, then there could be a status update in the 6-7 fields mentioned above or there could be no change at all (what we call Ghost emails)

I got a ghost email today but no change yet. I submitted my schedule A yesterday. What does that mean?

we are on the same dates. I submitted schedule 4 request yesterday. Today morning i got email from them saying that it is updated. But not showing any change in my ecas

After starting the BG check you should be getting in your next week if everything goes well.

Hey I got BG check in progess the same day my medical passed. I guess Aug 21. But I dun have any Schedule A request or anything like that yet. I presume BG check times are quite different for everyone. For some it could take months maybe. Lets see I'm not not worried as long as I get it within 6 months

Hey Harry, Schedule 4 is for provincial nominees. If you applied through that program you have a higher chance of getting asked for schdeule A. Some people didnt get that too. In these days after starting background check many are getting ppr within 20 days or 30 days and yes its different for each individual. All the best

Oh alright that makes sense. I applied through CEC. Although background check shows in progress in mycic account. But Ecas still shows only three lines. Anyways lets hope for the best.

I have got schedule 4/4a request but not yet for schedule A..I thought Pnp guys were only requested for schedule 4/4A

Sorry.Just wondering what is in 4/4A? What are they actually asking in Schedule 4/4A? Schedule A is asked when you have answered "Yes" for any salutatory questions in personal history. I heard this from one of the user in this post.
