Hi mate,

There lot of PNP candidates waiting for PPR. They did not have a PNP batch yet. Hopefully with some miracle if PNP also has a batch on 31st o December that should be grateful, though it is too optimistic.

I always thought you'd have to still change it to VO and send copies to the VO, not Ottawa....?

I havent seen the acctual ppr letter yet, but I think this is totaly up to the applicant and the only reason why people are changing the visa office is to shorten the time and minimise the chances of getting their passports lost in transport., I might be totaly wrong on this asumption ;/

I have seen some outland candidates on this forum who were asked to submit their passport to local VO in their PPR letter. I guess in some cases where they asked outland candidates to submit passport at Ottawa was just an error.

@ vishalv ....thanks man......trying to hold on to positivity

Good luck everyone

My passport was set to expire on June 2016. I renewed my passport as a precautionary measure.

It is advisable that you have atleast 6 months valid passport when you send it to VO, in case of PPR.

Hi Vishal,

when you upload your new passport Scanned, to CSE system, did you receive any update or mail from them, saying that they have received it, kind of an acknowledgement.

and you uploaded the first and last page of the new passport, right?

Thanks
Shiv

Those cases were not error, but norm. Those who got PPRs directly from LVOs were the few lucky ones who had their files processed outside Ottawa. On the other hand, those who had their files fully processed at Ottawa had to send another request mail to have their PPRs re-issued from their nearest LVOs. You can take the liberty to browse through the April/May/June thread if still in doubt.

Seems applicants from/in the US are treated as Inlanders at the PPR stage.
