I am 7th AUG AOR but BG still says 'not needed at this time'. they had asked for an additional document from me on 17th November, which I uploaded on 18th November. No movement since then - not even any ghost emails not too sure whats happening at their end.

Hey Yelena,

My BG check hasn't started either. Aug 8th Aor and i too am nearing the 5 month mark. Being optimistic i would say that since most of us are nearing 5 months since AOR we r less likely to get refused, however anything is possible with CIC .

I had ordered GCMS notes on 28th Nov i guess they are delayed due to the Christmas holidays hopefully should receive it in a few days.

Dont worry Yelena, maybe your application might straight away skip over BG check and will directly land you PPR.

Tomorrow will be exactly 8 weeks since my BG check went to "In Progress". From my point of view, BG check doesnt mean anything. So dont worry mate, just be positive & stay hopeful

My Police Clearance certificate from FBI (USA) was pending. Had given them the clearance from NY state dept before. so they asked for the FBI clearance.

Did you upload the FBI report or state pcc at last.


I did my FBI upload in Oct end and still waiting for BG to start.. (PNP USA)
