I you ask me, yes. Medicals and BG changed on Apr 28. No ECAS. I try it every once in a while, but no access so far.
CIC is ruling out ECAS, and all paper applications in favour of the MyCIC account website. PR applications have still to be phased in.

So my guess is that they didn't bother giving recent applicants access to something they plan to end in the next few months, or recent applications are already integrated in the new system and not available in ECAS.

Nope. Nothing.
They didn't ask for additional documents either. I'm guessing it is a good sign.
Still hoping/expecting PPR sometimes this month So many people go theirs lately, figure I'll be next soon.

I just went on MyCic account to check the status of my application. It says my application is not currently available and I should try again later.

My background changed to "not needed" today

I added a dependent, so they asked me for support documents for them. However, they did not request any other documents either.

We are getting close mine too changed like a week ago, after submitting the requested docs, waiting for it to change to in progress...

I wouldn't worry so much Tatiana. Things seem to go pretty well for you if background changed to 'not needed at this time', it means the R10 check has been completed !

Hey all,

I got a message from CIC last Friday. They asked for my resume and "SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION REQUEST FOR STUDENTS" form which was attached to the message. I submitted my resume and the filled form. After submission, I noticed that the very first sentence of the message was: "This refers to your application for temporary residence in Canada."!!! I have not applied for temporary residence! I am currently a temporary residence of Canada and have a valid work permit, I have applied for permanent residency through BC PNP-Express Entry-Post graduate program!

the day after I submitted the requested documents, the status of my BG check changed from "not needed at this point" to "in progress". But now the status of application is unavailable

Have you guys have the same problem?

Guys!

I received RPRF fees request yesterday. Strange think was that in my profile under my section two RPRF upload buttons provided!
We are two me and my spouse.

Finally, I submitted two times and respective receipts are uploaded on given buttons.

May be this will help others to know how differently work mycic system !!

That's great news ! Usually, it means you're close to PPR.
Let's keep up the good stuff.

BTW, I was thinking', they don't have all those refugees files anymore, they can focus on our files now.
That could explain why the sudden updates and PPRs for a lot of people.

i'm hoping that you are right I'm expecting to receive my GCMS notes in a week or so, so than i'll know more about my application.

CIC's site seems to be experiencing trouble on the backend. Don't worry, and just wait for 24-48 hours before attempting to check on your status.
