My husband is the principal applicant and he is in canada with work visa. We apply for FSW inland since he is qualified for express entry. We hire a consultant in applying for PR and we are just waiting for their reply. Maybe they're to busy sometimes to check our profile. We cannot check our CIC acct because they didnt give the username and password. AOR -April 22,2016. We wanted to be updated also with our application. How can we get a GCSM note

I you ask me, yes. Medicals and BG changed on Apr 28. No ECAS. I try it every once in a while, but no access so far.
CIC is ruling out ECAS, and all paper applications in favour of the MyCIC account website. PR applications have still to be phased in.

So my guess is that they didn't bother giving recent applicants access to something they plan to end in the next few months, or recent applications are already integrated in the new system and not available in ECAS.

ECAS has been disabled for PR applicants since Nov '15. You can check your status only through myCIC account, no other option.

Nothing apart from last week my BC status changed from In Progress to Not Needed at this time. It happed twice since I got AOR.

Same here - BC in progres since April 18th, same for eligibility check.

I guess it's work as design - they have 6 months for this, so...

Btw - it's being processed by local Visa Office, or by centralized office?

I did however apply for a BOWP on April 30 and it was approved yesterday so that means that at least my application for Permanent Residence was acknowledged as complete.
