Anyone with study permit deadline 15 august for college?

same with me. I deferred my admission to Jan 2021. I was advised by college

Some schools, like mine, require a valid study permit for you to start the fall class... I received my AIP yeterday, however, I have no other choice but to defer my program on the next intake which is Sept. 2021.

Why is that? If you already have received your AIP, why can’t you start your classes?

Why is that? If you already have received your AIP, why can’t you start your classes?

AIP is not the approved study permit... I dont know why it is not accepted by my school, but it's okay I do respect the school's decision regarding this matter.. I've waited for 5 months for the result. Then here, I just got lucky that I got one.. It's what matters most to me now.
