Hello all,

For those who have got their GCMS notes, I was wondering how many applicants found that their applications have been reviewed by JD01379. (I am not sure if it really indicates VO tho)

Anyhow, I have an impression that this VO "recommend passes" most applications even when he is 100% satisfied with the info provided by applicants and holds them for a while before medical.

Is it just me or is there anyone else who feels the same way?
Has anyone with this VO got their medical request?
We might be able to find some correlations between VO and some delayed apps.

Thanksss

So JD01379 seems to be a junior VO who does a preliminary check up of files. After that , the files are assigned to RC 6262 which is a resource centre. Apparently August applicants whose files were checked by JD01379 are receiving MR's. There are couple of folks whom I know have received MR recently in past 2 weeks. Their file was checked by JD01379. Those 2 girls are Nicole and Ujbaby (very famous :D)
I am also one of the person whose file was checked by JD01379 and mine status was Recommend Passed. I am still waiting for any communication from CIC. Hopefully I hear something soon, may be this week :).

No idea about the trend with this VO.

But, I would venture to think that if he is recommending passed, then he is a junior VO and needs further approval or needs a second opinion (further review require). So, my presumption is that he is not holding them before MR is issued, but rather forwarded to senior VO for final approval before MR is sent out.

The way I imagine this is that the applications circulate around....junior staff review and screen out those that dont fit the bill (not eligible), and then forward on for further review or approval. Then the file is either sent back or assigned to another VO, who sends out the MR. Having read of few of the GCMS notes published, I believe that applications dont remain stationary, meaning with one VO the entire process. Just my opinion. :)

I had this same VO and got my medical request immediately after elligibility assesment.
Which means he did not hold it back at all.

So assumption does not seems correct here.
