I am new to this forum and i am applying a work permit through a consultant in India . i wana know if anyone is applying or applied for a work permit recently or going to apply with or without consultant? i hope i can get some answers from here and share our experience. thanx

What stage are you at? There are a few different threads on here and it would be good for you to join in with them depending on what stage your application is at. Have you received a positive LMO yet? What area and NOC are you applying under? If you share your timeline others will be able to direct you to information relevant to your application

I am applying without a consultant, I know the owner of the business I will be working for. If the consultant has told you they can get you a job offer and LMO along with the work permit I would be cautious. Make sure you ask for past customers referrals and ask if you are able to speak with anyone he/she has provided this service for.. Some are good however please be mindful there are some unscrupulousness characters in the world and they will charge you for the privilege of being ripped off..

I am sure there are many on here that can advise you better as they have experience of working with a consultant

@amu88 hi,are you mean use of representative?actually i am under use of representative before applying work permit.

jade immigration is my representative,he's the one who assist me about the processing of my papers.

Need some insight about TWP. I have question about TWP program and how it works and if it can help to get PR in Canada

*)I understand we MUST have a job offer to apply for TWP : Does this job offer has to be related to NOC list? or it can be from ANY employer?
*)Does my employer HAS to file for LMO or its excepted
*)Is there a quota for TWP?
*)What is the max duration that one can be on TWP
*)can i bring my spouse/children along with me while i am on TWP?
*)once on TWP can i apply for PR? if so under which program?

I would really appreciate if someone can answer this for me.
