Anyone Who applied as FSW on Nov. 2006

Hi,

I applied as FSW last November 2006. I received the File No.Last July ,2007. WhenI saw my ecas, It was processed last October 2007. I was lost my patience to wait. How can I process it fast?. I know Iwasnt belong to the new instructions for the processing of all Federal Skilled Worker applications received since February 27, 2008.For me it's unfair for my situation that I was't included for this.It was 6-12 months theyve waited and it was processed fastly for those who applied after February 2008. I was envy for them.God Bless.

We actually have the same case, we applied last March 2007 when they announced that they are prioritizing those who applied on or after Nov 2008.... but we received a letter, indicating that we can send a new application to Sydney, Nova Scotia... since the job category of my husband is included in the 38 occupations listed in the Ministerial Instructions. You can check the Canadian embassy website, if your job category is also included in the announcement. With the new application, as i read you don't need to pay the fees since you already did that.... I hope this will help.... I am still in the process of reviewing the details. I'll post it as soon as i got the information....

are u sure ?you recieved the letter stated that u can apply under new rule ...make sure no need to pay the fee again..please give me the link let me i an also in the same boat..

i m also in a same boat. applied in sep 2006 from CHC islamabad and still waiting. i m also considering to reapply under fast track but confused to do so as i dont know is it possible to run two applications in parallel without disturbing the old one as i fall under 38 NOC list. Yesterday i e-mailed CHC to ask the same and will keep u posted about their reply. i am up now and cant wait more when see other applicants getting visas within a year time. as it is very uncertain about how long we old applicants have to wait further...
