Anyone travelled to Canada during restrictions on visit visa?

I have seen citizens and PRs are traveling to Canada on selective flights,the numbers are less though but is there anyone you know who came to canda on VISIT visa during these restriction days ? Please share you experience especially at Canadian airport

The issue is more when you board the plane rather than when you land in Canada. Although we've heard of people being turned away and sent home once they arrive as well.

To be able to board the plane and enter Canada, you must demonstrat that your reasons for traveling are essential and you must also fall under one of the travel exemption to the current ban.

Where is your MIL flying from? Is travel possible from her home country? Airlines tend to be very conservative in terms of what they consider essential travel since they are responsible for returning people if they are refused entry to Canada. Honestly think travel in April/May is unrealistic and even if she could travel your MIL she will have to quarantine away from you and your wife or else she would be a risk factor for her doctors, the doctors office and staff, the hospital, etc and she would be considered a vulnerabe person.
