Anyone international student physiotherapy related course received PGWP ?

Hi,

I had applied for PGWP after course completion in May 2025 and still no update. Any international student in physiotherapy related 2 years course received PGWP visa recently ? When did you apply (just to check time taken for the decision)?

Also in case of any adverse result what options do I have as my student visa has expired and I have comm. from IRCC allowing me to work till a decision is made? Can I request current employer (full time) to sponsor my Work Permit in Canada?

Any guidance / links will be very helpful.

Doesn't matter the program. All you can do is wait. If refused, next steps will depend on reasons for refusal but cannot work and out of status. If employer is willing to go through the LMIA process, post your job and prove no Canadian or PR has the skills then ask. They pay $1k and make sure high wage.

Good luck. No reason to be refused unless you didn't meet conditions for PGWP. Assume you included English test results.
