Are there anymore agencies that provides assistance to new immigrants

Try Immigrant Services Society of BC. They also assists immigrants in Vancouver with settlement information, finding employment and improving English.

Steaky is right....if u r driving and intend to drive but do not yet have a valid canadian driving license, it is best if u check out Icbc website and get the docs ready to save u time and hassle later. Not sure about the requirement for Singapore, but for a Malaysian, I have to get my driving license translated into English and attested as well. Thereafter, there is a written driving test that I have to pass as my Malaysian driving license only allows me to drive for up to 90 days. The link below shld give u a clear idea what is required.

Lastly, do not forget t have your local insurance company issue a letter that confirms your driving experience and zero claim status in Singapore in order to qualify for insurance discounts which can be very expensive
