My course is starting on September 2nd, same with my bro.We've been accepted at Universite Laval, Quebec
For Azahar I think it's end of august,What about you, when is your course starting?
I also hate waiting that much, week days are going so fast and week-end are going so slow.
I pray it ends up well for all of us, and we will meet there in Canada.

Course date is same as your's, but the orientation is in last week of Aug which is strictly compulsory. Thompson rivers uni near vancouver.

Had you given them your email or mobile number while submitting your application?
Anywayz you can go to this VFS website and find out your status by filling in the details. The Receipt No. is printed on the Receipt you got aftr payment at VFS.

Hey, guyz i was wondering that since they have a deadline(I think its july 27 or something) for visa application for the sept intake, does it mean that all the applications filled before that day will be processed before the course starts? It has to be that way otherwise whats the point in setting up a deadline?

27 july is the last date for GIC not for visa application

I visited my IDP counselor today, she says uni category takes 1month minimum and thers another guy from IDP who has submitted b4 me and is still waiting.

visa depends on many factors kunal and not being an expert I rather not try and preach as I my own visa application is in process.

But your major query is answerable in 1 simple thumb rule of finance which is as follows
Pay entire 1 year fees in full to University/College
$10,000 additional for 1 year living expenses in the form of Education loan or GIC from Scotiabank
And steady income proof for parents/sponsors would be sufficient.

Apply under UNIVERSITY if you are going to one! (you may get visa in 3 days... who knows!)
General and SPP are normally used for college applications

If you have work experience of more than 6 months , then show
Strictly follow the UNIVERSITY CHECKLIST! and all the best!!

is there need to attach income proof of parents or we just need to write income in file and not attaching any proof?? applying to sheriden college.

Hey Nahush bro ... its been now 10 weeks since my file is "under review and processing"
I am planning to visit New Delhi CHC on wednesday or thursday this week.

Wow that sounds great
Whatever they say, do not return until they finish the processing. If they say they will send it in 1-2days then stay in delhi for 1-2 days and get back to them if you dont get it 8)
Also find out the reason why it was delayed.
I know you must have planned to do all the above already, but i thought i'll mention it anyway

Hey, I never thought of that, could be very much possible. My uni is in British Columbia. Also i was thinking that ppl with longer courses are delayed. Mine is a 4yr degree.

@nvidia14- you were gonna visit the CHC on monday right? You went there? What happened?
btw i submitted my visa just one day aftr you.
