Anyone got PCC from Mississauga?

I have applied for my parents immigration and since they are currently in Canada more than year they need PCC from Canada too. When I talked for PCC in Peel they asked for do I need criminal record check or finger print check. I thought you have to give finger print for criminal record check. Should I go to RCMP instead of Peel police office?

Can anyone previously got PCC from Ontario/Mississauga can help?

PCCs for Canada aren't needed unless it's specifically requested by CIC.

I did not know that. I thought if they live any country more that 6 months they need PCC from that country. CIC never asked for it and I just wanted to do it before they asked. Thank you for you reply.
