AUGUST 8 ? And now its October ? Did you send them an email ?
Nah, man. I gave up. I already got used to the fact that many years from now when I will be old in a hospital, two days away from death, an IRCC officer will come to me personally and says: “In spite of the challenges IRCC now faces due to the invasion from Mars, here is your ATIP notes, new PR card and oath invitation…”

I consider myself lucky I got a chance to apply again. If 2019 is forgotten I'm in queue for 2021 ;)

So my parents did their ceremony, It was a bitter sweet for me cause I am still waiting on my ceremony too. I had to opportunity to ask one of the officers that was handling the ceremony if she could explain why my parents went first and I didn't. (My parents applied in Jan 2020 and I applied Nov 2019 just for reference) Now this was the Mississauga office don't know what this means for other offices but she said they are currently doing 3 ceremonies per day with 33 applicants/ 6 days a week. Do the math that's just 100 people per day compared to what they say if "it was in person" 300 per day, 150 per ceremony. Her response to why my parent might had gone through first was that they are pushing through the seniors quicker and if I applied along with my parents my app would probably be theirs (I am guessing because my parents didn't have to do the test and they got less steps to go through) So then I asked if she could give me any info on my app cause my last stat update was march 2021. She then said my app is que for a scheduling. So I asked how much is in this que. She then said its ALOT. hahah! ALOT

I don't really know at this point, at that rate Mississauga Office is running, I am not going this thing done this year. I don't know why they are limiting the applicants to 33 per ceremony, cause zoom base plan has a limit of 100 by default so it cant be that, it must be something else. They could easy done more. But why not??
"they are pushing through the seniors quicker".
So, in addition to UPs, some people (possibly not only seniors) are prioritized over others. This explains the long wait for some categories...

(Congrats to OP, but it's just making me more bitter....)

Hey guys, quick question:

Is it bad if I submit a new ATIP before receiving the response to my previous request (+1 month ago)? I wanted to submit a new request because in my experience (from PR), the ATIP reflects GCMS info on the date of your request (even if it is sent a month later, it's dated from when they received the request); after I submitted it I already did the test and submitted passport copies. Since I did not get any confirmation that they received my passport copies, I was hoping the GCMS notes would mention it...

Thanks!

It seems the online applications are way more faster than paper applications. This is the second online case I heard about that has a fast processing time.
Now it seem 2021 applications are faster than 2020, and 2020 applications are faster than 2019.

This application clearly demonstrates that the Montreal office is so fast and efficient that it can afford to accept applications from other provinces... :D

Indeed, Montreal office seems to have speed up a lot recently! no joke. I see a lot of tests + oath since around mid of sept.
