Anyone been asked for Non conviction certificate for ex serving military in UK?

My hubby been asked to obtain a Non conviction certificate from the Criminal justice office in the UK. He was in the military. Anyone have any experience obtaining one??

Did he submit police clearances (certificates) with the PR application? He is required to submit proof that he does not have a criminal record in any country in which he lived for more than six months since turning 18 years of age. I'm not familiar with what they would refer to these as in the UK - and I've not heard of someone with a military background being asked to submit separate clearances confirming there were no "military offences" committed, but maybe that's what this is. Otherwise, it could just be the "normal" criminal clearances that are required - if he did not get them and send them with the initial submission.

Yup he submitted the Police certificate.
They sent an email asking for military certificate of non conviction. I will have to call and find out exactly what they want

You need a RMP clearance certificate from the UK Military. You get it from the following depending on your service.

Documentation required from currently serving or ex-members of the UK Armed Forces.

ARMY - currently serving and no longer serving

Docs Req: Certificate of Convictions/Non-convictions

Thanks PMM and Robsluv,

they sent me an address Where to get this certificate but no informtion attatched. No application or if i just need to write a letter or anything. Then i tried calling the crime bereau and the lady there didn't know either. DOH.
So she said to call back thurs. I'll let you guys know. Would have been nice if it was mentioned in the application somewhere that we need this. but oh well. The situation is what it is.

Hopefully it doesn't slow down the process to much. They just said look forward to hearing from you within 60 days. I am hoping they just need this and then visa issue
