Anyone applied in Dalhousie University for Sep 2014 intake. Need Help!!

Hi All,

i have applied for MaCS in Dal on 5th Feb and my all documents(LORs,transcripts) were recieved by University CS dept on 17th Feb, still the Dal portal is reflecting as:

Application Status: Incomplete items outstanding
Decision:Written Notification to Follow

On 5th March, i dropped a mail to graduate dept regarding this. PFB their reply:

"Your completed file is forwarded to our evaluation committee for review. Please allow 3 to 5 weeks for this process to be completed.
At this time, we are experiencing a high volume of mail and it may be sometime befor the online database is updated with your information."

But, Dal portal is still showing the same status till now. So, i am worried. Anyone facing the same issue?

no, no status on the first page, and when I click into it, just gives a "web summary."

Nothing about status anywhere.

Nothing about "Decision:" in the chart yet.

Guess they're still waiting on another transcript, though I know it's been sent. Maybe in the middle of putting all the documents together.

they didn't updated my application online status till 17 feb- 2014, but now the status is updated and i also got email from dal FCS regarding my acceptance in program.
So, their is no need to worry about online status, you can just request for your current application status through email.

Moreover when i ask for status they always say that we are waiting for the decision from our reviewing committee.

I called them. They're waiting on a transcript I had to get re-sent via mail. I guess they didn't get the first copy.

Yesterday the online tracker updated with them having received my transcript now.

It now says
Decision: Written Notification to Follow

Guess it's the waiting game now.

BS - Sciences (Physics)

United States.

I just called them moments ago and they could only tell me that it's been "forwarded for a decision" and that I'd get a response by mail. (I had asked if it could be by email)

I'm a little worried because they sent an update on April 3rd saying I had a missing transcript still, and that they would send a copy (of the email) to my home address. I never received that copy. So, I'm a little anxious that when they reach decision that I may not get the response in the mail.
