Hello po. I received my first-stage approval two hours ago. Applied last March 13, 2020, SDS but lacking biometrics. I plan na ituloy din ang online classes pero may takot din na ma deny sa stage 2. Hehe.
Same din naman po ako. Buuut, i am upholding what IRCC has been telling us through their website and through webinars (IRCC India though) that stage 2 admissibility is based on medicals and biometrics. Critical docs are in stage 1. :) Tiwala lang po. I prayed for this so hard that if He gave a sign, I promised that I will grab the opportunity. :) Laban lang!

Hello po sa lahat! I hope everyone’s safe and healthy as well as your family. :) Gusto ko pong magthank you sa thread na to dahil bukod sa napakarami kong natutunan dito, it also became my comfort zone lalo na nung clueless pa ako kung paano ko aayusin yung mga docs ko for my application. Also, reading this thread eased up my anxiety lalo na ngayon covid times. I don’t mean to be rude po pero it’s actually nice to know that I’m not alone— na marami ding nagwoworry sa results ng mga permits nila tulad ko.

Not sure if you’ve read my post dun sa isang thread, but here’s my timeline po:

Lodged application: February 27, 2020 (with OWP)
Review of Eligibility: started sometime in the 1st week of March
Biometrics: March 3, 2020
Medical: January 21, 2020
Last application update: May 21, 2020
Webforms submitted: followed up for 4 times already but always received the same ‘generic’ response (Your application is still in process...)
GCMS Notes requested: August 6, 2020
GCMS Notes received: August 25, 2020

Ito naman po yung result ng GCMS Notes ko (same assessment results for both SP and OWP)

ASSESSMENT
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org. Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrep:
Other Req:
Info Sharing: Complete
Final: Approved
Counterfoil req: Yes

Ang totoo nyan, nahirapan akong basahin yung GCMS notes dahil hindi ko alam kung ano dapat ang titignan ko. lol. Kaya inisa-isa naming basahin ng partner ko yung notes and yun nga po— supposed to be, passport request na kami last May 21 pa after namin ma-receive yung biometrics correspondence letter but then the pandemic happened so ayun... naka-freeze yung status ng application namin. :( But that’s okay though kase atleast ngayon, may peace of mind na ko. :)

I still have no idea what I should be doing next honestly and what IRCC is planning sa application namin kasi next year pa po ako pwedeng mag-enroll ulit. My program’s only offered every fall so ayun— hintay ulit. I haven’t even gotten an AIP yet and tulad nga po ng sabi ko dun sa isang thread, I don’t think they’ll be issuing me one since there’s no use already lalo na’t next year pa yung school ko. I don’t really know what to expect but I don’t want to dwell on that anymore. Nakakapagod din kasing magpaka-anxious over something you have no control of, sa totoo lang and hindi rin worth it yung mental stress. Lalo pa ngayon na may pandemic.

So yun nga po, I encourage everyone (lalo na dun sa mga nag-apply pa way before the lockdown even happened) to request your GCMS Notes para po sa peace of mind nyo. :) And if ever po na may maitutulong po ako, please let me know. :) I’ll try to do my best to help.

Goodluck po sating lahat! :)
Stay safe po!

P.S.: For those who are wondering how I got my GCMS Notes, it’s through a friend in Canada. :)

Pag may counterfoil po ba na required, meaning nun approved na po?
Di ko po sure pero ang alam ko, yung counterfoil is yung visa. (Please correct me if I’m wrong) Ask ko lang kung ano pong nakalagay sa assessment nyo? Thank you.

Hello, everyone!
Update on my GCMS notes. I just received it last night.

Application Details:
Lodged application:
March 6, 2020 - paper-based
Review of Eligibility: Probably started around first week first week of July
Biometrics: March 6, 2020
Medical: December 10, 2019 (passed June 30, 2020)
Last application update: June 30, 2020
Email submitted: July 16, 2020 - Updated LOA
Webforms submitted: 2, received the automatic replies
GCMS Notes requested: August 11, 2020
GCMS Notes received: August 31, 2020

I would like to share the following that struck with me while reading my GCMS notes (I posted the details but made the necessary ones bold for them to be easy to read):

ASSESSMENT

HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org. Crime:
Medical: Passed

Counterfoil req: Yes

Text: Reviewed. Satisfied SP reqts are met. Meds passed. NBI cert is clean. LoA is valid.

------

In the assessment/application portion, it says that the information sharing on my application is complete, and my eligibility is passed. Does that mean it's already done being processed and I am eligible? I have 0 grounds for refusal too.

It seems like the outgoing that says 0 in correspondence means that they aren't sending me any updates anytime soon. But I am not too sure about this yet.

In the notes part, the text in the second note says that it's reviewed by July 2 and all the requirements are met, passed, clean and valid. But there's no update yet if they think I am recommended for approval. I haven't gotten any update since Medical Passed so I sent an updated LOA, hence, the update on Notes 1.

And when I asked for help from someone who received their GCMS notes, they congratulated me because these are good news and I shouldn't worry too much about the text from notes 2 because every visa officer is different in giving notes.

I would also like to read about your insights regarding these details that I shared.

Sooo, I think this is a good thing, I'd like to think positive that I and everyone will get good news really soon!

Thank you so much guys!! And like @aby08, I requested GCMS notes from a friend who is already a PR in Canada.

Good luck to all of our applications!! I also highly suggest requesting for GCMS notes. Mabilis lang processing nila ngayon compared sa mga nakikita ko dati!
