Yea, ang cool nga pag Regular Stream because you can apply as soon as you are granted an acceptance letter by a learning institution. For SDS applications kasi, you have to wait until the university/college opens enrollment and releases the schedule of fees. In my case, for instance, although the amount for the entire first year was indicated in my acceptance letter, the university wouldn't let me enroll pa rin until around May. That's why I couldn't apply for a study permit sooner. One of the major requirements kasi for SDS application is payment receipt for first full year's tuition
This is good to know! Need ko na kumuha ng IELTS para maprocess ko na yun sa school. Mukang malapit na ako machugi sa company namen haha. Anyway, this is all I've been waiting for. Time to act on my Canadian dream lol :)

Isn't it your agency's job to assist you with the SOP?
Normally, the clients would draft theirs tpos edit ni agency.
Yes, supposed to be that’s the agency’s work. Mine was also revised by the visa specialist.

submitted my sop to my agency but being told to revised it. help po!!!!!
need po ng example ng sop. e2 po email ko angelzeravan@gmail.com
thanks thanks po ng madmi in advance
But what’s the point of hiring an agency’s services if you’re not given assistance on important requirements like your SOP!? When you were asked to revise it, were you at least given specific feedback on what needs improvement? What to remove, what to add, what to strengthen? I gave detailed tips on how to write a kickass SOP (incl. what each paragraph should consist). Backread a little on this thread, and look it up. Hope it helps you the way it did me.

Submitted mine online regular stream last July 5. July 29 passed the medical and I already have my biometric last February just this year so I didn’t need one. And then they asked for my police report I uploaded it August 12 but during those times they were having “system down” I think? I m getting frustrated because my school will start soon. Any idea when I will get updates or get my visa approval?

My class will start on September 23. But I need to submit the approval of Student permit to the school aug 23 or else I won’t be able to take the class unless they still have seats available for me if I submit it later than aug 23. Same same like I always login in my gckey account every hour to check if there’s an update. I m also very nervous. Like I really don’t want to miss the class. I want to cry lol. But I read from one of the forum that some of them called I m not sure if they called agency or the embassy but it’s from another country. They login in their account and it’s says “processing” for awhile then when they called they found out that its been approved for along time already. Then they went back to check the site it says still processing when they already have the approval already. I think they update late sometimes. So you might want to call? I think this is the Canada embassy number in Manila 8579000. Just got that from google. Let me know. But I think you can do that on Monday.

Oh thanks so much! I'll try to call... September is fast approaching I don't want to miss my class also ... And from what I read in this thread, there's a system failure .. so maybe that's the reason why they can't update applications

Right right. I also wonder if that’s the reason for the late update.hope everything goes well with your visa. Also let me know about the call. I ll try to call as well. But don’t email the consulate okay I saw from the consulate website that the email address they were using might lead to scam. This was the message.

“We received reports that the consular email address was spoofed in relation to possible visa scams. Please note that the Consular Section is not involved in the issuance of visas to Canada. Further information on email scams is available on the Government of Canada travel website.”

Hi is there an update na on your application?
I haven't received any emails or anything. But my application status regarding the medical exam now says that I've passed so that's something I guess... I'm planning to fly out on the 26th and I'm so scared I'm not gonna make it :((
