When will you know kung kelan nag start yung review of eligibility?
Tricky yan, kasi walang date na naka indicate sa GCKeys account. What I do, I check the account at least 4x a day. Like what happened with mine, July 16th 5am MNL, there was no update. I checked back around 7:30am MNL. Voila! An update. I also keep screenshots for comparison. ;)

Pls provide the police certificate the soonest possible.

Hey Guys, good to be back here.
Meron na bang spreadsheet dito where we can compare the timelines for each month?
Iaapply ko kasi yung sister ko na mag aral sa Canada, and wala na ako idea about new changes for international students.

Kung wala kang hit, same day naman makukuha. Try to find other nbi outlets or centers na mas maaga ka makakapagset ng appointment date. Mas mainam sa mga robinsons or sm mag pa appoint. Kasi minsan meron ng available slots kinabukasan.

I applied via the study direct stream route, and submitted my application online end of June. I'm also done with my biometrics, I finished it July 2nd. Anyway, I did not submit my nbi and police clearances even though I actually have both; I got those back in late April. i didn't submit them because in the online account under GCKey there was no field for those two requirements. Does this mean that those are no longer part of the requirements if applying via SDS?

Hope to get some clarification. And thanks in advance po sa sasagot.

Good day! I'm new here and happened to see this forum thread ng nagresearch ako kahapon after I received my refusal letter for student visa (for September intake) for the following reasons of the visa officer:

*not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay based on immigration status;
*not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay based on my family ties in Canada and in my country of residence (Thailand);
*not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay based on the purpose of visit;
*not satisfied that I have sufficient funds and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay for my tuition fees, to maintain myself, and to pay the cost of transporting myself in Canada ;

My background, I am working here in Thailand as a teacher, kaya dito ako sa VFS Thailand ngsubmit ng application. I took my IELTS thru IDP Bangkok. They are the one who help me in applying in my school (Camosun College) and to arrange the documents I will need for my visa application. In my bank certificate I have 700k peso which I explained na nasave ko from working abroad (have worked in Jakarta for almost 5 years before Thailand although 300K of it is nadeposit ng May-June 2019. Then my step sister and step aunt wrote a sponsor letter for me (for tuition fees, accommodation, food, etc) and nag attach ng bank statements to support me. I have given a copy of a land title in my name but is still under Pag- Ibig loan. Currently, may Express entry profile ako because we look into this path last year but since my score decreases last January (420 to 415, then eventually 375 after kong magtake ulit ng IELTS) nagdecide kami ng step sister ko to look into study in Canada path.

I'm going to request for GCMS notes before re-applying to address the issues properly and I am also thinking to lodge my next application in Philippines through SDS but I appreciate po all the help and advices you can extend to me para makatulong na ma-approve ung next visa application ko for January 2020, salamat.

Hi rain143,

Wala pa din. Sabi sa amin ng senior consultant Friday night, usually after ng medical passed mga ika-5th week from June 26th may update na kmi dapat. Kung wala pa din, we still need to wait until the 6th week. They showed me the timelines of their previous clients who applied April and May 2019. Mabilis ang approval. Wala pang 30 days khit regular stream may decision na ang VO. Pero tayong June/July applicants bka 1st or 2nd week ng August and update. Eto daw kasi ung time na buhos ang Visa application.

Hoping and praying for everyone's visa to be approved the soonest possible.
I regret nga na I didn't lodge my application (via SDS) sooner. I enrolled at the university back in May 2019 (paid first year's tuition in full and obtained a GIC from Scotiabank), but took my sweet time in sending my application as I was also busy at work. I only lodged my application online almost end of June na 'coz I was under the impression that SDS applications were processed faster. A year ago kasi, it seemed fast lang, parang mga after 2 weeks, applicants would get their approval already. The waiting game is nerve-wracking, but at the same time, all the preps for studying abroad excite me.
