Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Sa tingin ko mas convenient talaga ang online application. Athough kapag paper based madouble check talaga ung mga documents na e submit mo. Online din po kami and hoping for a positive result. God willing! Goodluck po sa atin lahat

Dapat talaga online ako kaso may question kasi sa online about sa ielts since na hnd naman ako nagtake d ako makapagfile kaya nagpaperbased ako. I think medyo late ang paperbased. Goodluck and Godbless sating lahat!

ay ganun ba? kapag wala ka ielts di ka makapagsubmit online? pero importante naman umuusad ang application.. wait and pray na lng tayo.

May 28 - Confirmation of online submission
June 15 - Medicals passed (I did upfront and submitted it initially na, i think confirmation nalang that they received the medicals on this day)
June 22 - Visa approved

Super laking tulong ng thread na ito... Thank goodness di ako nag-agency pa! It's really true when they say you can pretty much do everything by yourself with help from people na may experience na with this. Thank you so much sa mga feedback din especially na super kulit din ako magtanong sa thread na ito. Prayers and research lang talaga.

Congrats! Halos magkasabayan lang pala tau, may 30 ako nag lodge paper based sa vfs. Ask ko lang ano mga documents pinasa mo? And ano nakalagay sa SOP mo? Salamat

hi Dyanne! the documents I submitted were:
- the required IMM forms (dun sa IMM form na ililista yung family members, I just attached yung birth certs ng family members ko at sarili ko para lang proof pero not required)
- Proof of Funds: notarized affidavit of support ng parents, bank cert ng family business and personal accounts ng parents ko, bank statements (for the past four months), business registration docs ng family business, ITR ng parents and family business, tpos yung tuition deposit receipt ko sa Centennial college
- SOP: yung sa case ko kasi, family business ang magsposponsor tpos parang more of I will be employed by the family business once i finish my postgrad studies sa Canada.. I'm taking up HR Management kasi there and I stated na wala masyadong employment opportunities for HR here and I was planning to take over the HR dept of my family business (which is true naman) kaso my parents wanted me to get actual HR work experience before I could actually handle the department kaso yun nga, di ako makahanap masyado ng HR job vacancies here sa Pinas so further studies in HR nalang gagawin ko abroad --> I also included NBI clearance and police clearance
- Medicals: I did upfront medical so yung e-sheet or information sheet sa St Lukes plus yung MMR vaccination certificate ininclude ko para wala nang tanong lol
- Passport: i have an old and new so ayun plus yung pages na may stamps at visa (I have US tourist and Canada tourist visa na kasi)
- Digital Photo
- Letter of Acceptance (yung Centennial kasi may ininclude na breakdown ng estimated expenses so inattach ko nalang yun tpos yung dineclare ko sa available funds is nakabase dito sa breakdown na binigay nila)

Finally the long wait is over!
I am a silent reader dito at binasa ko talaga tong forum na to mula page 1 up to now! Seryoso ako! Hindi na need ng agency andito na lahat ng sagot. Maging matiyaga lang hehe!
Salamat din po kay kapatid sa pag tingin ng SOP ko at sa pagsabi na 85% sure makakapasa ako. Hehe!

April 27 Upfront Medical (St Lukes)
May 3 Transmitted to IRCC/Medical Forward
May 20 Lodging of Application
May 21 Confirmation of Submission
May 22 ghost email/update
May 25 ghost email/update
June 2 Medical Passed
June 15 update of Review of eligibility from your application is in progress to we are reviewing your eligibility
June 23 Passport Request/Visa approved

Profile:
*2 yrs course in Okanagan College pero different course somehow related sa course mo. I am a registered nurse here in PH. And therapy assistang ang kukunin ko.
* hindi rin ako nagpasa ng itr,sss,bank statement-pero mas ok magpasa kayo pang strong ng ties
* andito sa pinas lahat ng family ko at wala kaming business permit na pinasa. Solely family lang talaga ties ko
*cousin ko ang nag support sa akin sa accomodation ko and nagpasa kami affidavit,tenancy agreement and id's

PIECE OF ADVICE:
Make your SOP strong and convincing. Declare everything. Lahat ng works activities niyo. Feeling ko sa SOP lang tlga sila tumitingin not sure of it. Make sure na ilalagay niyo na uuwi kayo after finishing your studies. Isipin niyo si Lord kausap niyo sa pag gawa ng SOP niyo. Isipin niyo you are praying for that one thing and gusto niyo makuha.

Guidelines lang yan at ang kada bansa may format ng certified true copy
Sa pinas ang gumagawa niyan mga notary public
They wont refuse your application kasi hindi eksaktong ganyan ang documents mo na may CTC.

Maraming salamat po Sir Maiba po ako. Yong papa ko kasi ang mag sponsor sa studies ko, ngayon as sponsor kailangan e declare yong properties at assets nya. Ang problema ko po ngayon is hindi po magka parehas ang middle name ng papa ko sa ibang properties nya. Would an affidavit suffice sir? Or it may be a ground for refusal po?.. Sorry negative po mag isip hehe medyo nalilito lang po kasi ako sa pag hahanda ng mga papeles ko sir. Thanks po pala sa pagsagot sir

Ako nga po,naiiyak nung nabasa ko ung promo wahaha.mahal ang direct flight ko PAL pero di hamak na mas mahal po yung tiket nyu.

Actually ung sa PDD test it is possible to get diagnosed as with TB because a lot of us do have the TB bacterium pero hindi pa nag mamanifest. It is also possible na merong markings sa chest xray mo which indicate tb. If you proceed proceed at your own risk, the problem with tb is it attacks when your immune system is low so kahit wala ka pa tb sympotms now, your pretty much a ticking time bomb for the bacterium.

Sorry to read this thread about PTB medical result while im doing my back read . I am only expressing my opinion. This is the 2nd time I've a known that a Visa Applicant getting medical results of PTB coming from St Lukes Hospital. Chances are the result is wrong. I have watched an episode from Atty Michael Gurfinkel that his Filipino client did a medical test in the U.S. before coming to Philippines were all his medical result were fine.. When he do his medical exam in St Lukes. He had same result like our member here positive of PTB. They were surprise and afraid about the result. That the visa applicant cannot comeback to U.S. anymore. But they did not believe the result is correct. They do again medical test and the result is negative from TB. Atty Michael said, they need to calibrate their machine. Maybe their test machine is contaminated. I post this story so our members are aware that the medical results maybe not as accurate as it should be.

For Visa Stamping po passport ko now. Wala nga po ako travel history sa ibang bansa wahaha. D2 ako nag work 13 yirs sa Pinas.never ako nag work abroad pero alam ng agent ko mga rules dahil nagpproces din siya mga TFW for Canada.
Much better if may ilatag ka na sa SOP muh na plan (without doubts sa pagdeclare) after ka mag grad. Say u will help in d development and research of ur countries resources,etc.gustong-gusto nila yang ganyang reasons halimbawa.wahaha parang bayani na ang dating mu nyan wahaha

Everyone who booked flight kay pal, i have layover in vancouver before heading to toronto. Its a mere two hour stop. Ask ko lang if dadaan pa rin ba ako sa immigration? And san ko kukunin yung student permit? Sa toronto or vancouver?

Also, what are the specific documents needed? Cant seem to find a comprehensive list on this. Moreover, do we need a guarantee letterr of some sort from yung host na titirahan? Kasi balak ko dun na ako maghahanap eh
